To all of my colleagues,
This course has truly challenged me in taking a closer look at my own communication skills. It is only now that I have realized some of my flaws in communicating, as well as some of the skills that come very naturally to me. I believe that effective communication and collaboration will take us far in our chosen field and am honored to have spent this time with you exploring our individual abilities. Thank you for letting me get to know all of you on a personal level and opening up to truly evaluate yourselves and ways in which we can all improve as communicators.
I wish you all luck as you venture off into your specialties and hope that I will stay with some of you along my journey. It's hard to believe that we're getting so close to the finish line, and wonderful to think of all the skills and knowledge we have acquired together along the way. I wish you all the best and hope you will consider keeping in touch. I will be sending out an email with my contact information, as I would like to stay in touch and continue to have your support and feedback throughout this program. I will also continue to view your blogs and share your insights along my way. Thank you all again and good luck to each and every one of you!
Be well and stay happy,
Raina
Hi Raina:
ReplyDeleteI know this has been the first time we have had the opportunity to be in a class together. I have enjoyed reading your blogs each week. We have formed a Facebook group for anyone who has been a part the Early Childhood Studies cohort that started in February 2011. Some of us may not have always been or have even been in any courses together, but it can give us a site for any cohort member can find each other and stay connected. If you would like to join, you can send me a 'Friend Request' at www.facebook.com/louann.rhodes1 or any of the other current members (Amanda Martin, Christina Parker, Teri Peasley, or Tracy Trautner) and we can add you to the group.
Good luck with your remaining courses,
LouAnn
Hi Raina: I really like your post. It is amazing the amount of information that we have learned since we began this journey many months ago. This last class was a big eye opener on how we can communcate better including how to stand up productively for things we feel strongly about. I hope to see you in future classes. I really like your blog site. Mine is so boring. I have to find a way to add some pizazz to mine. Tracy
ReplyDeleteHi Raina
ReplyDeleteSincerely, I want to thank you for sharing some of your real life experiences in relation to our studies. I also enjoyed your contributions to the discussion board. Often times after reading your post I would say to myself, "I didn't think about that". this shows that you are really taking the information to heart.
I wish you the best as you enter into your core studies, and most of all I wish you the best when you begin your dissertation. Take care. It has been a pleasure having you as a colleague.
Cheryl
